Big Rex Auto is registered as a “doing business as” trade name in process of preparing an application for an Arizona wholesale motor vehicle dealer license.
Purpose and Goals of Big Rex Auto
Our target mission is to be able to accept donated vehicles or purchase vehicles of our own from the public or dealer auctions. After doing that we can sell the vehicles to dealers or at dealer auction for Big Rex and Big Rex Software to help fund our programs.
We will also have the flexibility later to possibly fix and donate vehicles to people in need provided we have the funds to undertake that program.
Another possibility is to assist other smaller nonprofits with selling their donated vehicles if they don’t have the ability to do that directly.
Another idea in alignment with our core mission is to provide education to individuals and organizations with navigating the dealer licensing process, auto detailing, and auto repair.
We will also need to write some custom software to help us with our vehicle donation tracking, repair and maintenance history, and auction sale information. It would be nice to setup a database so that purchasers at auction can easily lookup the vehicle and get detailed inspection and repair information so that they can feel reassured that we are doing our best to disclose any issues we found and fixed or not.
Do You Have a Running Vehicle You No Longer Need?

We do not currently have a truck and trailer to tow vehicles that are not drivable. Paying to have them towed to our location and then to an auction or scrap yard is cost prohibitive compared to what we would get for them.
